I’ve had a lot of massages. This was in the top 1%. Scooter is exceptionally careful and thorough with his touch. He is also quite intuitive. He hits all the points, sensitively and thoroughly. He goes deep, but he also pays such deep *attention* that no gesture is ever gratuitous or without purpose. Too many masseurs go deep, but their technique is one-size-fits-all; Scooter is one touch tailored just for you. I’d recommend him to anyone and everyone, without reservation. Scooter was professional from the very first communication. He was accommodating of special requests (mobile massage), with a reasonable added charge that was well worth it. His demeanor was kind, making me feel comfortable from the moment he arrived. His touch is sensitive, precise, and where appropriate, strong and deep. He really knows how to get at trouble spots. He himself is quite strong and can easily and effectively move you if and where you need moving. I will be hiring him again and again. Five happy stars.

This is not an exaggeration: best massage I have ever had.

I honestly think he charges too little for what you get. Scooter’s touch is strong, deep and caring. It was almost like I was held in blissful suspension for the duration of the massage. Scooter is also easy to talk to — if you’d like to talk — and makes you feel completely comfortable from the get-go. But also as he makes clear, you can choose to completely disconnect, even fall asleep. He’s smart, too, so you feel safe, hard to explain.

I left his studio feeling physically lighter.

Oh also — the music was perfect. Nothing new agey or nature-soundy. And! He is not a clock-watcher. Toward the end of the session he wasn’t quite finished and asked if it was ok if we went a bit longer (no extra charge!), said something like being thorough is what’s important, not time.

I will be returning for sure.

This guy is the best bodywork guy I’ve ever been to. Like I said to him on the last visit, they don’t make them like him anymore. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind my adding what I said next. You go to these young guys and they might be beautiful but for some reason their massage doesn’t convey the intuitiveness, the confidence, the caring that Scooter’s does. He gives himself to the work completely. He goes deep and also makes you feel safe. He’s kind and easy to talk to. And smart. Go for it.
