Overview

Restorative, full-body massage for men seeking relief, connection, and a deeper reset in Los Angeles.

Arrive tense, sore, depleted, or simply ready to let go. From there, I tailor the session to what your body is asking for. My work combines focused pressure, long flowing strokes, intuitive pacing, attentive touch, and a continuous sense of movement from head to feet. Drawing from Esalen bodywork, I also incorporate healing energy to encourage deep relaxation and a more grounded sense of balance.

...I have 6 years of hands-on experience in presence-based bodywork. I am also a certified mindfulness meditation teacher, which informs the steadiness, awareness, and quality of attention I bring to each session.

Here’s what to expect:

• We begin with a short conversation about what your body needs and how you would like to feel by the end of the session.
• Pressure, depth, rhythm, and pace are adapted throughout the massage based on your preferences and your body’s responses.
• The session may gradually build energy and intensity before easing into deep relaxation.
• Hot stones are available upon request.
• Natural oil and oil-free options are both available.

There’s something about JC’s presence that makes you slow down almost immediately. He’s warm, charismatic, and completely at ease, and even his voice has this really calming quality to it. His studio is beautiful and peaceful too. It feels like this little sanctuary where you can actually shut everything else out for a while.

The massage had that same energy. He was completely present with me, and nothing about the touch felt overly planned or mechanical. It felt very intuitive. There were moments that were strong and grounding, and then others that were so slow that I could literally feel myself dropping into a different state. There was a real sense of care throughout, and at times the combination of the touch, the music, and the pace felt deeply restorative.

I think what I appreciated most was that he wasn’t afraid to let a moment breathe. He knows how to create a natural rhythm without rushing anything, and somehow the whole experience felt both meditative and incredibly relaxing at the same time. I left feeling calm, open, and really connected to my body. And that feeling stayed with me for a long time afterward.

I expected a strong massage, and JC definitely delivered, but what surprised me was how good the slower parts felt. He has the kind of touch that makes you stop thinking after a while. By the end, the tension had drained out of me.
He never made the session feel rushed or like he was watching the clock. Every part of my body felt included, and the massage kept getting better as it went along. I left feeling loose, clearheaded, and completely satisfied. I’m already looking forward to the next one.
