I had been dealing with a chronic lower back issue for weeks, which had now started to cause problems radiating in other areas, which kinda sucks if you’re a poker player and the LA Poker Classic is in full swing. Contacted Gabrielle for an appointment, and a few hours later, I was on her heated table in a very quiet massage space with soothing music, just the perfect combination of deep tissue and Swedish, and the absolute most important component (for me, at least), communication. Gabrielle didn’t dictate the session, instead, she asked where the pain was, where it originated and when, and kept herself open to adjusting pressures and techniques if something wasn’t working as intended.
After the session was over, she offered me the option of a hot shower, which I gladly accepted, and I actually booked another 90 minute session for the next evening.
Definitely one of the best massage sessions I’ve had in many years, and Gabrielle is a massage therapist I highly recommend.
