Overview

I practiced at the Lauterstein Conway massage school in Austin, Texas where I received my foundational education in massage therapy. I am a dedicated massage therapist with a passion for promoting wellness and healthy habits.

I incorporate a variety of techniques in my massage including elements of swedish, deep tissue, and flexology. I am a certified breath coach and I often incorporate breath-work as part of the session. I address tension and stress in the tissue layer by layer from... superficial to deep. The pace is often slow, and the strokes are long and connected, complete and fluid. pressure is adjusted based on density as I feel and connect to each individual’s unique nervous system. Will adjust to your preferences.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it almost felt like from the moment you walk in the process of the massage has started. Luke has a warm and magnetic energy that he uses to start helping you feel relaxed immediately. He’s quick to offer you water or tea, and immediately makes you feel like you’re in good hands I’ve had several massages in the past. I wouldn’t say that I’m a person that gets regular massages, but I’m familiar with the process. The initial intake where Luke goes over your history you can tell through his attentiveness and follow up questions that his intentions are to help and heal. Throughout the duration of the massage, Luke does a wonderful job of checking in making sure the pressure is appropriate for the areas that he’s working while also, asking you to challenge yourself a bit so you can experience greater muscle release. After the massage, I felt calm and content, and Luke was very warm and appreciative to have gotten to help. There was no rushing out the door. It is clear that he loves what he’s doing. The day before I had seen Luke, I had gone for a pretty long run, and generally speaking, I get really tight even on shorter runs, and it typically takes me a bit to recover from them, I really believe that my recovery period was much shorter than usual because I had gone and seen Luke. I couldn’t recommend his services enough. The experience from start to end is warm, relaxing, and professional. It’s so refreshing in a world of cynics and people who are “just doing their job” to come across a person who so CLEARLY loves what they do!
