Therapeutic Massage by Dominic

Overview

I offer therapeutic and relaxation massages, depending on my client’s needs. My therapeutic massage includes Sports Massage which is focused on Perioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) stretching to open up the joints and the increase range of motion. This helps increase flexibility, improve overall improve performance and decrease the chance of injury. Additionally, I incorporate deep tissue to inhibit over active muscle and to eliminate adhesions (i.e. knots). Thirdly, I offer gua sha, an Asian technique similar to cupping...More that alleviates pain by removing stagnation and getting the bodily fluids flowing in troubled areas of the body. My therapeutic approach has been able to eliminate chronic pain in dozens of my clients over the years. Not all clients are seeking therapeutic massage, in which case I offer a relaxation alternative. Both massages include essential oils, hot towels and soft relaxing music.
I was trained with over 1500 hours at Pacific College of Health & Science (PCHS) in 2013. I am certified in corrective exercise at the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I am also a certified yoga instructor.
