As a runner and triathlete, recovery is an integral part of training, and Niko played an essential role in patching me up. Over three-plus years, I saw them grow and evolve as a massage therapist. They looked at the symptoms of my tight and sore muscles and the cause. Because of their work, I successfully finished multiple triathlons (including an Ironman), marathons, and even a couple of Disney Dopey Challenges (5k, 10k, a half and full marathon in consecutive days) with few problems. When I started to suffer upper back and lower neck pain from sitting at a computer all day, they took it on as a challenge to figure out how to alleviate that pain on top of dealing with my usual workout-related stuff. They were relentless in incorporating new techniques (such as cupping, hot stones, and massage guns) to find what worked best to address my pains and make the most of our sessions. Don’t be shy about verbally telling them if pressure is too much or not enough, especially if you’re a new client. They have no problems adjusting to meet your needs.
