Sports Recovery by Idael

It is always good to be pampered and have a masseur massage your body, because it definitely releases your tension. BUT IT IS BETTER TO HAVE A SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPIST do a session, or two, or three on your body.

Just when I thought that I had to get Carpeal Tunnel surgery, Ideal began his session, and it only took one session to see a little change, then I thought if one session brought this relief, what would happen if I do the other sessions he suggested? So then I said YES, and here I am, getting rid of the Carpeal Tunnel Syndrome without going into surgery.

ATT RUNNERS: There are times that your body needs a FULL STOP and get sincronized with reality. You can do it in several ways, either by running a marathon, traveling, meditating, jogging, watching a sunrise or sunset, etc..I have found my own way: Receiving a Massage.

Not all massages are the same, not all masseurs are the same, and not everyone that calls himself/herself a masseur really is.

I searched the AMTA website (www.amtamassage.org/find-massage-therapist/) and found some of them in my area. I tried one, and while she was good, it was not what I was looking for. I tried a second one, I realized there was not connection. Then I tried IDAEL, that is when I said I just found a knowledgeable, professional and empathetic masseur.

From the initial questions, to the evaluation, to the techniques, to the recommendations, he was impeccable.

It has been a week since my last session, because of that massage, I have been able to perform at my best on my 23 Miles Run, and I'm sure that I will do a lot better.

I do not see this as a Money Expense, but as an investment.

More than a massage, ut is a treatment to recover from the hard workout. I have had massages before, they were just massages, but Idael went above and beyond. He evaluated me, asked for areas that needed attention, treated them, then suggested a plan of action to avoid these issues again. Definitely I will be calling him back and recommend to my friends.

BEST MASSAGE EVER: I still cant believe what surgery was the only option for doctors, it was resolved with only 5 treatments by Sport Recovery Miami. I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome on March. Numbness, tingling and paresthesia on my Right Hand/arm were among those symptoms that would not let me be quiet. Nerve study was performed by a neurologist, then he suggested surgery. I was not happy with that decision so I researched and found Sport Recovery Miami. As someone who values quality customer service very highly, I was extremely pleased to have been treated by someone as caring, professional and knowledgeable as Idael. I suffered upper and lower back injuries after being involved in a car accident recently, and I now feel considerably better after a couple orthopedic massage sessions with Idael. He was able to increase my range of motion, reduce associated pain and stiffness and improve my posture considerably. I'm looking forward to future therapy sessions with him, even if it's for maintenance only down the line.

THE BEST MASSAGE EVER

I am an avid runner, between 5k/10k, my training is hard enough to know that I need time to recover. The least I knew was that Massage and all its modalities are geared to allow a fast and better recovery.

When I contacted Ideal I had no idea what he was going to do for my recovery, after a 15 minutes chat I understood that recovery is not only about one bodywork session, but about a consecutive amount of sessions to allow every area get better.

Ideal was super professional, knowledgeable and empathetic. He did the evaluation and based on that, he explained what needed to be done afterwards, so I agreed, and I can say with a happy heart that it was one of my best decisions.

Pain on my hand all the time, going to doctors and tempted to go to surgeons... but it only took the first time to meet Ideal.

I am an office manager in Bay Harbor Island, my amount of work is so much that sometimes my whole body gets tensed, but the main concern that brought me to Idael two months ago was about a pain on my wrists, previously diagnosed as CTS and scheduled to have surgery on October 13th. To my surprise, Idael did a detailed examination, from wrists to neck, he did a bunch of tests and then he worked on me for about 5 massage or bodywork sessions. I could not be happier with his work, professionalism and ethics. I learned new ways to save my hands and avoid future symptoms, but above all, avoid surgery, which in most cases does not really solve the problem. If you are looking for a Massage Therapist, he is the one.
